On Friday Brookfield Academy traveled to Milwaukee Washington to play the host school in the Ron Glaser Classic.  Milwaukee Washington is considered one of the best teams in the state regardless of class as they have numerous Division 1 recruits on the roster.  Their starting line up went 6’09, 6’08, 6’06, 6’05 and 5’10.  We came out and competed and led by as many as 8 in the first half, eventually taking a 34-32 lead into half time.  The second half was more of the same with neither team taking more than a 4 point lead until the 3 minute mark.  At that point we had back to back empty possessions and Washington pushed the lead out to 9.  BA lost 86-72.  The Blue Knights were led in scoring by Junior Aidan Clarey with 27, Senior Marco Humphrey had 15 and Sophomore Logan Landers finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds.  Junior Alex Leach challenged Washington’s size all night with 4 blocks.
